History
SRS is a longstanding professional building company, trading
having begun in 1969.
The company has been responsible for varied works on many
prestige commercial and domestic projects, in Birmingham and
beyond. Our services have ranged from routine maintenance and
repairs through to the most complex and demanding of
projects. We have undertaken a wide range of project sizes,
from small domestic repairs up to large scale commercial
commissions.
The largest project completed so far had a value in excess
of £0.5m.
SRS moved to Wharfdale Road, Tyseley in 1980, providing
ready access throughout Birmingham and the West Midlands
region.
The future
The building industry faces many new challenges over the
coming years, as we move to more sustainable buildings. We
are committed to meeting those challenges, and have already
taken steps to develop our own in-house expertise, as well
as partnering with relevant external specialists and
consultants

SRS are accredited to BS EN ISO 14001:2004
SRS produce waste management plans, and have targets in
place to reduce their carbon footprint.

product, with high standards of craftsmanship and
professionalism.
Our direct workforce (of carpenters, joiners, tilers,
slater, plumbers and bricklayers) is highly skilled and we
commit substantial resources to investment in new training.
They are also comprehensively trained, either in-house or
through formal CITB training programmes, including attending
local colleges and universities.
We pride ourselves on our ability to provide competitive
quotations, accurate programmes and quality local
workmanship. We regularly receive positive feedback from our
clients praising the efforts and professionalism of our
loyal and talented workforce.
We use only British Standard approved materials which are
fully guaranteed, or Agrément
Certified products.
